Like most motor heads co-founder Ed Bollmann was born with a passion for cars, trucks and airplanes. Building model cars as a child was the beginning of his wrenching past time which evolved to the real deal when at 15 he purchased is first project car, a 1954 Ford sedan delivery from the Sunoco gas station he worked pumping gasoline.  His early career had him managing service stations & auto parts stores which is the foundational part of his current day classic car business systems and e-Commerce parts businesses.

When his career shifted to the evolving technology of mini computers and PC's he continued with his passion  by owning, flipping and maintaining various muscle cars including his favorite (I wish I had now car) 1970 Dodge Charger 500, 383 Magnum, 4 speed, A/C pictured below.

After decades of building and implementing distribution & manufacturing business systems his attentions returned to customizing modern and restoring classic Dodge Challengers.  As he spent untold hours scouring the internet for ideas and parts he realized there was a need for a better mouse trap for getting restoration parts and merged his auto parts experiences with his business system skills and created "Ed's Project Car Swap Meet" a classic car parts internet sales & marketing business .  This spawned the creation of EdsSwapMeet.com an e-Commerce website providing classic car parts businesses with a common place for the sale of new, NOS and used parts including classic project cars.

Chip Foose Over Delivers Autograph (2013)

My grandson has always been a Chip Foose fan so much so that he named his dog Foose.  When I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in Disney World's "Car Masters Weekend" at Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs) we brought my grandson with us where he was hoping to get Chip's autograph on his shirt sleeve.  After some wrangling Chip was made aware of my grandson's quest where he broke away from his car judging responsibilities... The video tells the rest of the story. What a great person!

Years later this shirt has never been washed.
